Did the Doctor KILL Rose’s Dad in 1987?
Remember last week’s picture? Well, Jackie’s asked around the estate, and she came up with a booty haul.
At first no one wanted to talk to her – only natural, she figured, as it was the day her husband died. But the more she went on at them (and that woman can go on…), the more she thought something odd was going on. Especially as even she can’t remember much about the day he died. She always put it down to shock. Or Baileys.
But then she realised: People didn’t want to remember. Everyone was out. It was Stuart Hoskins and Sarah Clark's Wedding. Big day out for the estate. Everyone loved her, and her dad had money, so it was gonna be a knees-up. That’s what Jacks said.
I was around then, but I can’t really remember it. At first I thought it was as I wasn’t a page-boy (I loved those little velvet suits. Wanted to wear one to school). But then I thought more about it – and I can remember running to a church, and wishing I hadn’t.
Jackie found everyone was like that. They couldn’t really remember the day, but then again… when they really had a look, they had all the wedding stuff you’d expect – you know, photos and videos and printed invitations on heart-shaped card.
The easy thing would have been to ask the Hoskins. But they moved away. Or something.
But here we are – lots of photos. And, if you look at them, lots of proof that something went on, and the Doctor was involved. It’s not a coincidence. But what kind of man - of alien - would drag Rose Tyler back to make her watch her Dad die?

He meddles in time. He’s doesn't follow our laws. And, I believe he means well… only he’s alien, right, and they don’t think like us. Has anyone else got any sightings of the man in history?
We’ve got a wealth of evidence building up against him: People who’ve seen him as far back as their families can remember – and a lot of it starts out good, and then gets all messed up with death...
You know, the friendly supply teacher who turned up the day the Headmaster vanished. The strange tourist who rescued survivors from a burning hotel.
The Doctor who visited patients on the wards, changing their medicine and telling them to ignore the strangely smiling nurses.
But, the thing is – for a time traveller, he always turns up a bit late. He never saves everyone.
Till next time, Mickey
